Women in our Islamic Heritage The Messenger(s) of God said: “The best of women of humankind are Mary the mother of Prophet Isa (Jesus), Asiyah, the wife of the Pharaoh, Khadijah, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and Fatimah (r),  the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).  -- Based on the oral tradition of Qatadah (r). There is much we can learn from the stories of these pious and inspirational women.
